Terms & Conditions

The rental agreement between you and Power Banks UK.

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between you ("the customer") and Power Banks UK ("we", "us") when you rent a portable power bank from any of our stations. By tapping your card at a station you accept these terms.

2. The rental

  • You may rent a power bank by presenting a valid contactless payment card at any Power Banks UK station.
  • Pricing (per-hour rate and daily cap) is displayed on the station before you confirm.
  • You may return the power bank to any participating Power Banks UK station within our network.

3. Fees & payment

  • Rental fees are charged to the payment card used at the station.
  • Charges accrue until the power bank is returned to any station in our network, subject to the daily cap shown at the station.
  • If the power bank is not returned within the maximum rental period, a one-off replacement fee (displayed at the station) applies and the unit becomes yours.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Use the power bank only for personal charging of consumer devices.
  • Do not open, modify, damage, submerge or attempt to repair the unit.
  • Return the unit intact. Damage caused by misuse may incur the replacement fee.

5. Liability

Power Banks UK is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including damage to devices arising from misuse of the power bank or use of third-party cables. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

6. Refunds & cancellations

If a station fails to release a power bank after taking a payment authorisation, no charge will be settled. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days at office@powerbanksuk.co.uk and we will investigate promptly.

7. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your rental.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
